Science
We love science at Prepped. Our experienced tutors have worked in science careers before becoming teachers, which means they present our students with the skills necessary to not only pass exams but also to bring science to life.
Humanities
At Prepped we offer core humanities support for students looking to develop their understanding. We also offer a fantastic online tutoring service for R.E and R.S.
KS1 Catchup
Over the last few years, our youngest students have missed out on many hours of core learning in the school environment. Our catchup classes in literacy and numeracy aim to get them back on track and working at the correct level and beyond.
History
Our experienced history tutors support students to really get to grips with the extensive GCSE and A-Level history curriculum, so they have a broad range of knowledge to draw on in the exams. Younger historians are nurtured to develop their love of the subject through interesting topics and activities.
Passing exams
Even when a student knows all the correct information, they can often fall at the last hurdle during the exam. Our tutoring sessions are here to help students learn the correct techniques and give the examiners what they're looking for.
Modern languages
Additional tutoring for modern foreign languages improves students' confidence with speaking, listening and writing skills to support ongoing learning of the subject.
Anxiety workshops
Stress and feelings of anxiety can really impact a student's confidence. These workshops will teach students breathing techniques, wellbeing tips and more to help them achieve their full potential.
11+ exams
Independent school 11+ examination preparation is supported by tutors who have experience setting and marking these tests, to support students to gain places at their school of choice.
KS2/SATs
We have a great team of KS2 specialist tutors who work with students in Year 5 and 6 to help them prepare for the maths and English KS2 SATs, so that all children stand the best chance of doing well when they get to secondary school.
Essay writing
Essay writing is a fundamental skill, necessary to excel in all subjects at GCSE and A-Level. Our specialist tutors provide intensive support to help students craft well-balanced and research essays that hit all the right marks in exams.
